Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) is a UK based professional accountancy body whose focus is on the training and qualification of accountants in business. It represents financial managers and accountants who work in industrial, commerce, not-for-profit and public sector organizations. Its key activities are related to strategies for use within business. CIMA is the world’s largest professional body of management accountants. It offers the most relevant financial qualification for businesses. CIMA’s syllabus is designed to deliver a strong understanding of all aspects of business, so that our members can contribute in many areas of an organization. It teaches skills for strategic advice, managing risk and making key decisions.

Entry Route to CIMA:

Anyone can study CIMA, whether you’re new to business and accounting or already have some experience. The only requirements are competence in Mathematics and the English language.

Graduate Route:
You may be eligible for exemptions from some CIMA exams, depending on the degree you hold or are studying for. If you hold an MBA or Master’s in Accounting, you may be eligible for our Master’s gateway route.

School Leaver:
As a school leaver, you start CIMA by studying the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, which will give you a solid grounding in the fundamentals of management accounting. The certificate is a standalone qualification as well as a stepping stone to the CIMA Professional Qualification.

Professional Qualification:
